9month old with cold?

my 9 month old has a cold-runny nose, sneezing, coughing, what can i give him to help him get over it. i use a vaporizer every night. i was trying to be careful, i wash my hands every day when i get home from work before i touch him or anything of his. and i got it so i was trying to stay away from his face but that must not have worked. i have been using the bulb syringe
he goes to the inlaws and i work with money so i def. wash my hands.
last night. i l;et him sleep with us bc he was not ready for bed when we were and i woke up in the middle of the night bc his head was in my ribs and he was burning up and did not have a blanket on him but this morning he is fine

My four and half month old has a cold also. I know the fustration of there not being much you can do. I have been washing her bedding often. What I found to work is a Life brand vapor bath, Johnsons makes one also- it has menthol, rosemary, and eucalyptus oil in it. It is made for babies. I just let her soak in a bath with a small amount before bed for 20 minutes, I add more warm water as it cools. It reallys helps, but I do find I need to rinse it off with a warm cloth or she got a very small rash- not sore or nothing. Last night I washed her after with the warm cloth and her skin is great this morning. Best of luck.
