Could I wear this type of thing to an anime/manga convention? would it work?
I have it because I bought it for halloween last year ($3, gotta love thrift stores) so it’s not like I’d be buying the one here, it’s just this one has good pictures of the outfit, and I have no camera even if I could figure out how to upload images onto the computer

I think it looks kinda chinese style (even though anime/manga is japanese, I’m expecting people to be wearing Avatar costumes, so ‘chinese’ isn’t too bad)
If you really like it then wear it. It’s unique and has an Asian flare so I think it would be fine to wear at an anime con. I like to think that at an anime convention basically anything goes. People will probably ask if you’re a character from a specific show though, but if you don’t mind questions then go ahead and have fun.
